2010 Garden Tour Announcement

Now in its 19 year, the Sonoma County Medical Alliance's Annual Garden Tour is generating excitement as plans for the 2010 event are underway.  Sparks of inspiration abound in the town of Windsor, where the garden owners will prepare their landscapes for public viewing.  Private gardens will open up to the ticket-holding public May 14 and 15, 10 AM to 4 PM for this fund-raising event. Proceeds from this event go toward health related issues concerning children, seniors, teens and women here in Sonoma County.  

Come for inspiration and contribute to this event; anyone wishing to join the committee or volunteer please contact Sori Devore 538-4990 or Meta Lightfoot 526-9748.  Meetings are held the first Monday of every month in the Oak Room of the Sonoma County Medical Asssociation offices, 3033 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa. The next meeting is Monday, November 2, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM - all are welcome!

The Garden Tour event has gained an immense amount of momentum in the recent past.  The 2009 Garden Tour based in Sonoma was enriched by gardening workshops, included a tour of genuine Sonoma heritage as well as newly finished modern homescapes. The event accumulated a volunteer staff equipped to support and direct the wave of visitors this event brings to a town.  Thank you for your interest and mark your calendars for the event in this year’s special location - Windsor The Gateway to the Wine Country - we look forward to seeing you!
