Who We Are
The Sonoma County Medical Association Alliance Foundation (SCMAAF) has been improving the community's health in Sonoma County for over 85 years. One of the unique aspects of the SCMAAF, and what makes us different from other non-profits, is not just our community work. We are a community within our organization as well — coming together to bond, to support each other, and to make a difference. When you join the organization, you become part of a community that understands the challenges and benefits surrounding a physician’s life. From the stress of call nights, and post-training indebtedness to the sometimes shocking dinner conversation resulting from the question, “how was your day,” our members have experienced the ups and downs of doctor’s lives, and the joy and pain of working to heal others.
