Garrett Martin, Adobe Road Winery Winemaker Adobe Road winemaker Garrett Martin will tell you that his goal is to allow the wine to express its own personality, telling the story of its origin through his artisan skill and techniques during harvest, crush, fermentation, clarification, aging and bottling. He enjoys being creative and focused on crafting the highest quality wines while working in close relationship with founder and CEO Kevin Buckler, each individual vineyard partner, grower and his small team. Garrett will describe the tasting notes, composition and accolades for each wine.

The 24 is a Rhone-style blend from Sonoma County comprised of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre with some Malbec thrown in for fun. The beautiful metal chronograph on the front pays homage to the Rolex which times the thrilling 24-hour races at Daytona and Le Mans.

Apex pours a dark purple-black into the glass. Licorice, plumbs, wet stones and blackberries lead the way, with smoked meat and wild blueberries framed by medium-firm tannins. Very full bodied and super smooth.

Adobe Road Winery is a Petaluma based boutique winery producing artisan wines from premium vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa counties. We maintain collaborative relationships with our growers and carefully select vineyard sites based on their suitability for particular varietals. Our wines are handcrafted in small lots with minimal intervention, including fermentation with native yeasts. We believe that these methods, combined with the distinctive nature of our vineyards, lead to expressive wines of the absolute highest quality.

The Racers Group is a professional motorsports business, adept at successfully managing teams of unprecedented competitive scope and executing visionary marketing programs. From humble roots as a Porsche club-racing business, TRG first tackled the world of international sports car racing in 1995 when Kevin Buckler, driving The Racer’s Group Porsche 911, won his first ever professional race. From 1995 through 2002, Kevin and his team competed in a wide variety of racing forums while continuing to focus on the development and growth of its versatile racing businesses.
