Sonoma County Medical Association Alliance Foundation
Physician families connecting to create a healthier Sonoma County by improving the lives of those in need
Meta Lightfoot, VP of Membership, has created a great opportunity to get out of the house on a Friday night to enjoy fellowship and a nice glass of wine while enjoying a creative endeavor.
It's Paint Nite, of course.
SCMAAF members of all skill levels are invited to attend — and bring a friend if they wish.
A Paint Nite professional will teach attendees how to paint a beautiful image on a canvas in a step-by-step fashion. Acrylic paints, brushes and the canvas are all provided. (And, for you freestyle artists, there are no penalties for rogue painting!)
Your entry of $40 also entitles you to a free glass of wine and some delicious hors d'oeuvres. And the painting? It's yours to take home.
So, join your fellow SCMAAF friends at the Fountaingrove Golf & Athletic Club on Friday, March 3, from 6-9 PM and brush off those winter blues!

We Did It!! 237 gifts were purchased, delivered, and wrapped to help ease some sadness for local foster children during the holidays. Nick Honey, Director of Sonoma County Family, Youth and Children's reports: "Your Program is really a mainstay. For many children, this is the only gift they receive."
We couldn't do it without our loyal donors, dedicated shoppers and lovely "wrappers." This year 17 Alliance members attended Wrap Day to help complete our gift giving process. Together, with a spirit of caring, we do make a differnce in the lives of these youth!
Be sure to check out the "wrap Day" photo album...you'll find it by clicking the Events tab.
Check out the Health Careers Scholarship webpage for the most current information about this program and how you can invest in the future of health care.
The SCMAAF's Give-a-Gift Program has been improving the lives of foster children in our community for more than 60 years. The program impact is twofold: it provides holiday gifts to meet the specific needs of youth in foster care, and it offers laptop computers to young adults who are pursuing higher education. The fundraising campaign is happening right now and your donation can help our youth experience an enjoyable holiday and help older youth succeed in school. Click on the Give-a-Gift Donation button at the top of this page to make your contribution today!
