EVERY DOLLAR SUPPORTS SONOMA COUNTY STUDENTS' MEDICAL EDUCATION
Scholarships Today for the Caregivers of Tomorrow. More than ever, we appreciate the critical role Sonoma County medical professionals play in keeping our families and communities healthy. In our hospitals, clinics and in our homes, local healthcare workers have stepped up to fight Covid and keep our community healthy. With your support, we can foster a new generation of healthcare professionals to practice medicine in Sonoma County.
A Half-Century of Scholarships. Health Careers Scholarships of Sonoma County was created to educate tomorrow's medical professionals today. For more than 50 years, this program has assisted students from Sonoma County with the cost of their healthcare-related undergraduate and graduate education. More than 75% of scholarship recipients are the first in their families to graduate from college, and a high percentage of them are filling the gap in primary care and family medicine.
Honoring Our Donors. Our fundraising campaign will run until May 1, 2023. We will announce our results, as well as the names of our major donors, in the Celebrate Community section of the Press Democrat on May 21, 2023.
